Introduction
Taunton is the regional capital of the South West of England. Somerset is an important centre for leisure and tourism and is one of the most beautiful parts of England. Taunton is two hours from London and a short train ride from the local university cities of Bristol, Exeter, Southampton and Bath.
Richard Huish College is one of the leading state sixth form colleges in the Country. It is funded by the British Government Department for Education and Skills to provide further education routes to universities and professions. The College is situated on the edge of parkland overlooking fields and hills, about five minutes walk from the centre of the county town.
If you are interested in taking your AS/A2 levels and preparing for university, or you wish to study for a professional qualification, you can choose from one of the four main options as follows:
Option 1
Two-year AS/A2 or Applied A Level programme starting in September.
Option 2
One year A/S and Applied A/S Level programme.
Option 3
Specialist Professional Courses at a range of examination levels.

• University Level Courses (FdA in Sports Development and Coaching, FdA in Business and Management)
All our courses include EFL provision on a weekly basis and the opportunity to study towards IT qualifications.
